Full Maple 2021 Macos

We will install and activate Maple on MacOS in this guide. If you have the funds, I strongly advise you to buy a license. Additionally, Maple provides a 15-day free trial. If, like me, you're broke and don't want to depend on 15-day free trials. I am here to help but you need to do some work so that Maple doesn't complain about license.

  1. Download the Maple 2021.1 from the following link

  2. Use the following license (Macintosh HD > Library > Frameworks > Maple.framework > Versions > 2021 > license > license.dat)

Note: Just replace INTERNET\=\*.\*.\*.\* by your en0 ether address. or try to change INTERNET\=\*.\*.\*.\* by USER\=yourmacname

PS: One can use ifconfig en0 | grep ether | awk '{print \$2}' to get the en0 ether address on macos.

  1. Install hex fiend and search and replace the following bits in libmaple.dylib (usually found in the Macintosh HD > Library > Frameworks > Maple.framework > Versions > 2021 > bin.APPLE_UNIVERSAL_OSX)

  2. For the arm 2023.2 version:

    The license tags of version year 2021 with the Maple2021, Maple2021Excel, MaplePlayer2021, MapleReader2021, Grid2021 can be replaced by respective2023 year tags. Further, change in the hex-fiend:

    change c0 03 5f d6 7d fd 08 94 fc 6f ba a9 fa 67 01 a9 to C0 03 5F D6 7D FD 08 94 C0 03 5F D6 FA 67 01 A9

    after the change, I also add to codesign the library again. Just create a code signing certificate (system located) and use the "codesign -fs cert file" command.
